What made you decide to start blogging?
I was always interested in fashion and had a keen eye for it. A lot of people would come up to me to ask what was trending and what to wear so I decided one day to pen it all down (rather type it on a digital platform). That’s how my Blog started.I also had lot of these clothes lying around and nowhere to go so decided to make good use of them. My Blog is just my creative outlet and my passion in form of pictures.

Who would you say is your number one fashion inspiration and why?
I get inspired by a lot of people. I try to seek inspiration from everything around me. I might like something from someone and some other thing from someone else. Inspiration is an ongoing process. One just needs to keep their eyes and mind open. Having said that I have followed Victoria Beckham’s journey from the beginning and she is one of my constant source of inspiration. I love how she has transpired from a songstress to a mom to a fashion icon to business entrepreneur.

What type of networking do you think is better to enhance your traffic to the blog?
The best networking is to be in constant touch with your readers & followers.

How active are you on a weekly basis? How often do you communicate with your followers?
My endeavour is to have a daily communication with my followers.

What’s the one wardrobe essential you can’t live without?
A crisp white shirt will never let you down.

When you can’t think of anything to wear, what’s your go-to outfit?
Shorts and a shirt or a top. I live in Shorts.

Who takes the majority of your photos? How much time goes into a normal picture found on your Instagram account?
I used to have a couple of professional photographers that took my pictures but now its my friend who takes my pictures & I am loving them. A typical shoot which results in 10 pictures takes me an hour and then editing and processing takes an hour. I try to do 2 shoots in a week.

What is the quote that you live by?
Find what you love and let it kill you. – Charles Bukowski.

What’s your wellness mantra?
Exercise Exercise & Exercise. Find whatever form you like but you have to sweat out those toxins and kick in those endorphins.

Do you think Instagram is sufficient to widen your base?
I feel Instagram is fastfood for today’s generation and Blog is gourmet 7 course meal. People do not have time and patience to sit through that 7 course meal so they make good with the fast food. It’s fast and easy to consume & well suited for today’s fast paced lives.
Do I think its sufficient – NO, But Is it working for people – YES. I feel the wider u spread your wings the better the flight. Also you can develop real connections through a Blog only which is not the case with Instagram.

If given a chance, what app or gadget you would like to invent for the fashion lovers? An App that can scan through my entire wardrobe and help me with the best suggestions for the day and the occasion.

If not a Blogger, then what?
A Fashion Stylist with a reputed Fashion Mag.

What are your views on the dependency of technology on fashion and vice versa?
For me Technology is a mere enabler that will help fashion to be more accessible.

What can India expect with the merge of Fashion and Technology?
I think Technology is playing a huge role in making the Global fashion Runway a level playing field for our designers. It is also helping in Taking Indian fashion to the world & Discovering newer & fresher talent.

Canon DSLR & Samsung S6 phone

I love Samsung phones
