HIM: Sustainable development brings together a number of global problems like intoxication of the space we live in; poverty, and starvation; climate change; depletion of mineral and organic resources; ecological devastation; and global inequality. But, while technology has played its part in creating the problems that we face it will also play an important role in solving them. Sustainable development is a technological mission, and across the globe measures are being taken to produce sustainable tech that not just benefits us today, but also generations to come, by being cautious of its long-term impact on the planet. We also now need to work towards that global goal, to only create sustainable technology.
