"You have the right to work, but never to the fruit of work. You should never engage in action for the sake of reward, nor should you long for inaction. Perform work in this world, without selfish attachments, and alike in success and defeat."

EX: Biggest milestone in your life.
HIM: When my brothers told me to drop the idea of becoming a software engineer and study economics. It gave me great perspective of things that are not usually what I hear and see in my friends circle. It helped also think through normal day-to-day stuff in a much deeper way that I never imagined.

EX: Book(s) that have influenced your life.
HIM: I don’t read books – struggle to go beyond a page! People influence me and I am thankful for all the great people I have/had as friends, family, mentors and managers who have had significant influence in my life.

EX: An unusual app on your smartphone.
HIM: Skymaps – it is basically a hand-held planetarium. I enjoy looking through this at the sky along with my son.

EXThe next product on your tech-wishlist.
HIM: Self-cleaning robot.

EX: 3 habits you think are most important in order to be an effective leader.
HIM: Not sure about habits but I try to do the following based on my learnings from other effective leaders: respect people, listen well, build a team with diverse thoughts & backgrounds.

EX: The best tech innovation according to you.
HIM: Smartphone – nothing has beaten the trend-shifting impact this innovation has made for our generation.

EXYour ideas and views on sustainable technology
HIM: This becomes super important when I think about what my kids are going to go through in this world when they grow up. But the actions we need to take on our day to day life to make a big impact is still very simple if we do it everyday – reduce, reuse & recycle.
