There are a few respectable jobs that will eliminate the entire need of sitting through a 3-4 year bachelor’s degree. You can actually study what you’re interested in and start a career in it.
~Here are 7 alternative career options~
1| Ethical Hacking
Qualification: 10th-grade graduate
Salary: 1.5-20 Lakh PA
All you need to do is be interested in Computers, and you’re good to go! You can take a course for it namely, Ethical Hacker Certification (EHC), and after completing that, congratulations, you’re now being paid 1.5-20 Lakhs, buy just finishing a course and skipping the whole process of the college.

Confused whether this is the right path for you? Let me make it easier, do you get this sense of motivation after watching Masterchef Australia? Do something about it. Go to the kitchen and give it a shot. Maybe cooking is what will actually give you the adrenaline rush that you need for a hobby to turn into a career. And hey, it pays well.
3| Start a Business
Qualification: Literally none, you just need to exist.
Salary: I mean, Bill gate’s salary is $11.5 billion pa, so…
Some of the most successful people in the 20th and 21st century were entrepreneurs without a college degree. You just need to have the want, desire, and a quality product, and it’s actually easier than you think it is. The barrier to start a business has literally never been lower, with the help of the internet, you can start a business with as little money as Rs 1,50,000-2,00,000. Did you know even 7-year-olds have successfully started businesses? What’re you still doing here? Ideate.
4| Personal Trainer
Qualification: 12th-grade graduate

After your high school, you can enroll in a 3-15 month course according to your preference. Because of health consciousness, the demand for personal trainers is increasing day by day. Nowadays, celebrities and influencers are ready to pay anything to become fit and thin. Drawback? You’ve got to diet.
5| Stocks and Trade

Stocks is something which needs, I’m not going to sugar coat, smartness. You need detailed knowledge of how the market works and functions. But once you get into it, it’s said to be super interesting, and addicting. You, however, do need to register with the Securities and Exchange Board of India. The salary is low, but the bonus is the main source of income.
6| Tea Taster
Qualification: Graduate in Botany, Food Science, Horticulture or allied field.
Salary: Rs 25000-50000
“Why haven’t I already done this?” is what you must’ve thought. It’s not as easy as it sounds as it requires you to give up alcohol, smoking and prohibits you to eat spicy food. The course in anywhere between 3 months to a year. BUT, with the drawback comes compensation with a bungalow, car and a comfortable lifestyle provided to you as incentives.
Qualification: All you need is a camera and quality content (sometimes just content is enough too)
Salary: Youtube pays you as per advertisement view (at least 30 seconds) after you get a certain number of views, $1 for every 25 views. You can also earn through sponsored video and affiliate marketing.
Is it just me or is YouTubing slowly beginning to look like a great career option? I mean you’re getting paid to vlog about you having fun/ or talk about what makeup you’ve been loving (these are just a few options, the opportunities are endless). Bloggers get a lot of traction and love if their content is good. Once your blog takes off, you can earn money from many sources one of which is through advertising and becoming an influencer.
It’s imperative to understand that you shouldn’t ever do something half-heartedly.
The best and wholehearted effort of a mediocre individual is always greater than a half-hearted effort attempt by an individual, however excellent.
So, don’t do something that isn’t letting you live the way you want to. Study for a job, not a degree if that’s what you think makes more sense.
you’ve got this buddy~
