“ Whatever it is, even if you want to go for the moon,
just go for it. ”
RS : For sure, your initial phase in Bollywood must have been quite a journey for you. Have you always wanted to be an actress?
Jacqueline : I always knew I wanted to be an actress. You know it’s crazy because this year, I celebrated 8 years in Bollywood and still I can’t bring myself to believe it has been 8 years already! To this day, approaching every single movie and song gives me goosebumps and butterflies. It is like I just began.
I have always wanted to be an actress. I knew that since I was 7. I grew up in a very middle class family at an eastern island called Bahrain. If I would have told them that I wanted to be an actress, then they would have laughed at me. It was very difficult for me to come to terms with my dreams. When I was in college, there was nothing like drama school. If I were to give myself any advice, I would have started from college itself. I thought I must do something in life. Like acting has always been my passion and career. Whatever it is, even if you want to go for the moon, just go for it.
