In conversation with Shruti Haasan…

Even though she doesn’t like to be known as the Kolaveri girl right now, Shruti Haasan, the daughter of the legendary Kamal Haasan, does recognize the value that song has added to her life. Apart from that her life is usually filled with working on various Bollywood projects, plus also deciding which ones are worth doing.  She is quite a techie at core and is not baffled with any kind of questions you throw at her.

Upcoming projects that we should watch out for? Should we look out or anything particular in Bollywood?

Yes definitely everyone should look out for me in Bollywood in the near future. There is a misconception these days. I’ve not made a conscious decision to stay away from Bollywood or to focus on any language particularly. I’ve always been on the hunt for interesting characters so definitely more stuff in the south and definitely something in Bollywood as well.

·How tech savvy are you? How do you keep yourself updated with current trends?

I’m not super tech savvy but I should be, considering I’m a musician as well. But I have an I pad , I have a Mac lap top, I have an I pod. I have like a super cool stereo system, a good pair of head phones and two phones all for my personal use, so I think I’m fairly tech savvy.
